The world is changing around us, and as parents, we are keenly aware of the challenges our children will face as they grow up in this new world. Advising them to go out and take a practical job that may or may not see them through the next 30 years couldn’t be the only option, so when we decided to escape the corporate grind and transform our lives, it wasn’t only for us that we were doing it, but to show our children that there is a different way to live – a way that allows us to spend more quality time together; a way that allows us to help people and improve the world around us – that it’s not just about drawing a paycheck.

Parents can’t help but instill their beliefs into their children. If you’re truly hands-on, involved parents like we are, then your children are a huge part of your life and your existence. We have tried to teach our children that our efforts made as a family are enjoyed as a family. We have built many amazing memories working together, doing service together, and having fun together.

Our favorite things are jet skiing, 4-wheeling, camping, and just laughing together. Now, we are leading the way through this challenging time by embracing the changing world around us and recognizing the good that can come from being in control of our own financial destinies and working for ourselves.
